Jeffery P. Smith is the great great-Grandson of Wilson Parker in Curtis’s image “The Whaler – (Makah),” taken in 1915. Jeff lives in the Seattle area and is the Executive Director of the Nakani Native Program. We learned so much from Jeff and want to continue on that journey of recognizing the cultural conflicts between mainstream society and Native Americans in today’s world.
